Discapacidad visual y estudios de traducción e interpretación. Dificultades de alumnos con discapacidad visual en las asignaturas de recursos informáticos aplicados a la traducción e interpretación y de traducción especializada

This paper aims to show partially the results of an education innovation project related to accessibility and integration of visually impaired students in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Malaga. To be precise, we shall examine the difficulties perceived in the subjects informatic tools and resources applied to Translation and Interpreting and specialized translation (legal and socioeconomic translation, on the one hand, and scientific and technical translation on the other hand) after several years of teaching experience with students afflicted with this disability in order to explain, subsequently, the measures that have been implemented to mitigate them and therefore facilitate the full integration of these students. Previously, we shall provide a brief overview of the project in which the analysis herein presented is inserted.
