Problemas en la traducción de la oralidad fingida del español al alemán. Análisis de un fragmento de las películas "Nicotina" y "Partes usadas"

This paper analyses some difficulties that are connected with the translation (Spanish-German) of oralidad fingida (fictional orality) and some specific cultural aspects in subtitles and in dubbing of Mexican films. In this context, oralidad fingida means that the spoken word seems spontaneous and natural due to the fact that it is induced by certain kinds of oral markers. Hence the aim of oralidad fingida is to arouse the illusion that the spoken or read content equates to the common usage of language. This complex set of problems will be exemplified on the basis of two Mexican films ("Nicotina" and "Partes usadas"). Based on the theories of Koch and Oesterreicher (2011), Goetsch (1985), Brumme (2008), Brumme (2012) and Koller (2011), we will analyse the oralidad fingida and specific cultural aspects in these films and its translation into German.
