Hacia una enseñanza más completa de la traducción audiovisual

University professors occasionally fall into the trap of giving students a vision of the subject that is somehow disconnected from the real practice. Audiovisual Translation teaching does not escape that trap, so reflecting on certain contents that could be included in Audiovisual Translation syllabuses seems not only relevant but also convenient. This article briefly portrays the current situation of Audiovisual Translation teaching in the Spanish university system, and it then includes some comments on certain contents that could be added to those that – perhaps due to a more traditional view of the teaching practice – are already being taught.
