Una mirada telescópica al cine en euskera. Versiones originales, dobladas y subtituladas

This article will have the main objective of recounting the fullest possible data marking the reality of Basque cinema at present, both the one having the Basque, or Euskera, language as the language of its original version, and that that uses dubbing and subtitles in this language. The production of dubbed and subtitled versions of films shot in Basque in other languages​​ –especially in Castilian-Spanish– will also be studied in some detail. Thirdly, the difficulties of film production in a minority language such as Basque will be assessed from the perspective of the methods of analysis of Translation Studies and Sociolinguistics. The positive impact of the International Film Festival of San Sebastian will also receive attention in these pages.
